Always I thought I was strong but I realized that I wasn’t as strong as I thought I was afterall, at certain times, I have my weak moments too, and in my moments of weakness, I break down awfully.

in those moments, I shut my mind my brains and I switched off. Unknowingly.
Just like today, with a lost mind, then when I turned beside, my mother was there.

Pulling me like a leash tied to my neck guiding me, directing me.
That’s when it dawn to me, my mother can be strong at times too.

Mr Aaron Kwok's Concert

The complimentaries tickets Uncle Anson had and brought us together with Joyce to watch
Aaron Kwok's concert.
yeah, everyone was right, Aaron Kwok was fit, shaky flexible good body and energetic.
He danced well, and never rested for a break.
He is good.

at 12 am, it wasnt ended yet, so 4 of us left the indoor stadium before the crowd does.

at 8pm, only 3/4 of the stadium was filled.

Kwok started almost at 9pm, the stadium was already filled
4of us were quiet throughout,

without the freebies sticks to make noise as well.

Last saturday we invited ms helen n jifa over for dinner with aunty kim and aunty chia.
because we thought so long about a place for makaning for dinner to meet up, and we couldn't decide on a proper place, ThiRak Darling Ak decided to do the cooking.

Its also for Helen's Birthday sincerely for her because i didnt do anythingy for her.

so my hubby did something by cooking for her.

Did i have sleep paralysis or sleep walking or paranormal experience

I dont know if I had a dream or had an experience with something weird , when a few days before, I had a re-occurrence experience which I didn’t have for several years.

I remembered, that night, thirak was asleep on my right as always, our hands clasping as always. Then , I felt his hands un-clasp mine and move away.

Seemed like a while later, 2 fingers grabbed my mouth gum inside holding it up, opening my mouth really wide and the left arm went round my neck, choking me. REALLY TIGHTLY!

I started to feel breathless; my saliva was stop at the bridge of the arm where I was being choked.

I FELT LIKE I was going to choke to death in that spilt second, and i was so so helpless, that i don't know why, for some reason i stop trying to get out of the situation and told myself, to stop struggling and be strangled to death then. i think i felt my energy ran low and lost my strength to want to fight.
I remembered vividly, seeing the person's image that strangled me, his face. Short sunken in face with short slimy black hair, face a square shape. And pale looking. he was a thin as thin as a stick man.

So I did stop, for a while, and while I stopped struggling and could feel the tightness pulling into the throat of mine, something triggle me not to give up. so i got my energy together once again and remembered Thirak on my right and decided to get his attention by kicking him to help me. i pushed all the energy towards the right to kick Thirak to wake him up.

So I used my right arms and legs to kick really hard at Thirak. i tried to scream but No voice came out, as expected.
The strength I used to kick seemed so bloody pointless and vain less, and there was no response from him at all.
MAYBE Thirak was so deep in sleept. COULDNT HE FELT ALL THOSE KICKING! i thought to myself!

Then I started trying my voice again in anther direction, calling, J..e..s..u..s. ......................J..E...S..U..S! i remembered choking at it.
I choked myself screaming as I thought I could. CALLED AND called.

And I started crying. Sobbing.

The hands released my throat and fingers released my inner mouth in that second then.

I laid there ALL daze and SHOCKEd in that moment , and .......sobbing, and really shocked, EYES wide open in a daze. Paralysis to the incident for a moment. then i started looking around. NOBODY was in the room and when I recollected myself in seconds, I turned to the right, THIRAK WAS NOT THERE. he was not at my side sleeping.

Gosh where was he? I started sobbing again. i started thinking nonsense then.

Then i heard the bathroom door open, Darling Ak came out. Mumbling to me that he had diahorrea the whole night when he realized I was awake. when i saw him, i started crying again. Happy he was ok and well.

What follows of course was Thirak consoling me and hugging me back to sleep after he realized I was sobbing and shocked. Still he probably thought I had a bad nightmare, which till today I thought it was so real and I didn’t seemed to be asleep. i looked at the time. its was 630am.

In MY younger age, I used to have what science explainable, “sleep paralysis”

Physiologically, sleep paralysis is closely related to REM atonia, the paralysis that occurs as a natural part of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. Sleep paralysis occurs when the brain awakes from a REM state, but the body paralysis persists. This leaves the person fully conscious but unable to move. The paralysis can last from several seconds to several minutes "by which the individual may experience panic symptoms and the realization that the distorted perceptions were false".[

I used to experience it so very much, it became a NORM to me, the only thing was, I was very very young then. simple fact for this was overly stress...blah blah blah... i was overly stress when i was young?

I don’t know what this choking experience or maybe a dream of being choke is. It surely seemed too real to me.

Was I being too stress during then? Maybe I was and started choking myself ?? Or too stress that I DREAMT badly.

After thirak embraced me to sleep that night while I was sobbing, he felt asleep. I didn’t’ go back to sleep. I woke up to go to work early.

I went to the bathroom to bath and wash-up, and stare at the mirror.
My neckie was red.

that morning i went to work with a fever and by evening it subsided.

Popping pimple after pimple now ..

Recently I developed a number of pimples on my face at a go, after so long, and its making

losingmy self.

Gaga .

Should be the stress and the late nights in the office that popping out the pimples.

Then I recall when I was younger in like secondary school life, my face was constantly attacked by pimples. And because of this my mummy spent her salary bringing me to the skin specialist every month for medications to minimise the pimples from popping. Simplity because I was vain too. But still again I guess at that age, which girls aint worried about the acne formed on the face, the most important appearance in teenage life.

So must thank my mummy for spending so unneccessary for her teenage daughter then,,,,,,,,,

Before the may labour day approach, the guys were arranging for a drinking session night together, seemed a long while since they did.
So the night set at our housy with ThiRak’s cooking the dinner and Topshell and Lala for bites.
I came home late that night after work, but managed to dig in dinner.
But i was very very tired.

Congratulations to HELEN's pregnancy, my dear girl, took me so so so so long to post, i was really busy, then i totally forgotten to arrange again our meeting session to the moment i reached home.

When i reached home is almost to 9 almost everyday, by the time i makan its bed time.
senseless.

when i treated susan for her birthday lunch today at crystal jade, the bill came with the
UN-touched peanuts at S$2.00. So before that I told Susan if they really charged the untouched peanuts for S$2, i might jolly well ask them to taobao.

and they really charged the un-TOUCHED Peanuts for S$2.

i asked the waiter to wrap it up. and he did. He wrap the peanuts with a small plastic bag. And wrapped the wrapped peanuts with another large plastic bag.
How worthy. S$2 for small plate of peanuts + 2 plastic bags.

then the OFFICE chairs for us to choose to buy for the new office is in the room this noon, about 10 chairs to select, the best chair that fit us.

The awful night at Shanghai Dolly ...

Just before I start my joy and pride,

I might as well bloggie that night in dolly for weisong’s brithday first. Apart from his birthday joy,

Me aint as mad and anger as in the last few days already since its long past, so maybe this post aint as effective as I want it to be anymore, hahehha.

So when we had the BBQ that night at ST’s house with Molly mum and Tiger, we refrain from drinking much alcohol, because we knew we going to Dolly afterwards, so we didn’t,.

It was about 11 plus when we reached dolly, to our , MY HORRID, it was worst then the peak period in the train SMRT, we were trying to squeeze into and trying to get a tiny place even to stand.

PEOPLE were pushing and trying to get pass us, cramping us so badly, we had no idea how we managed to survive that crowd that night.

As it wasn’t bad enough, the tequilla girl Squeezed herself through the crowd toward us, pushing Darling AK away from me to the back, when I was beside florence and tried to sell her drinks.

I’m okay at normal times, I was even trying to stand on “one FEET” already, here she is taking another of my “FEET” floor and making the area we were at, more CRAMP forcing us to buy the tequilla.

I think florence bought some from her, and the promotor was trying to get me to drink and I was frustrated enough and the less floor area to stand and at her 3rd approach to me, I screamed at her.

‘DON’T WANT MEANS I DON’T WANT, UNDERSTAND!”

So she finally left.

Then Annie their friendz saw Darling AK, gave him a big hug, just LIKE ALWAYS when she sees him. I was okay with that.

She was already quite high with her medicated oil always either on her glass or nose. She reak of medicated oil. MADE Darling AK drink her glass of Kilkenery and cheering.

After a while, she left to other people, then was back and HUG Darling AK again! Made him drink cheers with us.

Then she left to the others again.

Then she walked back, steping on other peoples’ feet, pushing whoever was in her way!

Then she saw Darling Ak, and HUG him again. When they stood talking, she had to placed her hands around Darling AK’s waist. Then she looked at me, realised I was there “ you not jeolous hor,…” … “” because I never go your housewarming la……” then she HUG him again.

the moment she said this, i decided instantly to be mad.
because it got me, it got me, because she said this sentence, it got me, because i knew she wanted to get me, so i let her get me, to make sure she knew she GOT me.
and to make sure she got me, i knew i had to throw out VERBALLY, if worst physically, at her.
and so i did.

What has housewarming got to do with the NUMEROUS time of hug? I scream at her… “YES I am jeolous…so?””

I told her I am very jeolous, “”” HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE TO HUG HUH? """I SHOUTED AT HER…

After that we got disoriented and lost each other, because it was weisong’s birthday, I think darling ak and I were more focused that side there.

When we couldn’t bear no more, we join yeng near the stage that side there, where there were more square area floor for us to stand.

Everything was good, we were having drinking with ferr nikki yeng and gina when that ANNIE medicated lady came over, tramping on everyone’s feet along the way to us,.. and started shaking herself, singing “” someone jeolous…. Some jeolous….”

I wished I took the video of her shaking herself and singing away.

So the next time she came over tramping on everyone’s feet again, and cheers with us, I ignore her totally. she asked me to drink, i ignore her, making sure to let her know i IGNORE her and she knew i ignore her.

Till today. well if she didnt respect me in this sense, i guess, why should i? it wasnt the 1st time or 1st day, its almost all occasion when we met, she did this. so...

If I greet someone, I hug at the first meeting, as a greeting and miss you kinda thingy, NOT HUGGING EVERY 5 MINS.

STUPID. HOW Fish, talk also must put the hands around the waist, if it was a normal occasion, I think I might have create a large scene. Doesn’t matter if she was is am my friend.

So, after she wanted to leave, in a drunkard state and told everyone goodbye, but was still standing there shaking herself.

I gave her 5 mins, and when she was still shaking to the music, I couldn’t help myself, went to her and said :” just now you said you wanted to leave, why you still shaking?”

She heard me obviously and said oh ya oh ya, she said another round of goodbye’s to everyone and left.

As I was already mad, it got to me, the singer on stage made a rude remark about the ladies on the floor were spider spirits or evil spirits of something in mandarin. I called him over on stage after he made the remark and “#%$&*^(“ him.

As it wasn’t good enough, a friend of yeng’s made fun of yeng’s body shaking badly in the dance verbally and physically. I called him to repeat what he said to yeng verbally again if he dare.

Think Darling AK too heard, and said:” I’m her daddy leh, you dare say such thing” something like that. but of course, we sounded jokingly.

Hohohohoh,. What an awful night.

We been too busy at work that

its been busy

for the last 2 months, i think MOST of the nights i go back after work is in darkest and in the taxi. Soon i might have forgotten my walk to the train station from my office place. tsk tsk.

With my ThiRak darling and my parents all full from their dinner, then keeping a little bit for me. Of course, by the time i reached home, i'm all exhausted to be eating already, so most of the time, i didnt eat much.

And at times, like yesterday, i was working late and THIRAK Darling AK worked pretty late too, so i managed to join them for the dinner meal the moment they finished.

so i'm welcoming my time to bloggie and changing the current background,. hoping wishing for it soon to come. i might liked to do it tonight.

also by late, we been so engorsed in the channel 79 CI........

when ADEL ask me this morning why i had a nightmare in DOlly last weekend, i realised there were points of issue, a total of 6-7 points i think.

so eager to blog it, but kana dragged down by my tons of work this period and overtime,

The night me and AK went to Dolly to finish our balance..

the day before Mummy's birthday,

Darling AK and I went to King's to meet alfred and to finish our 1/2 johnny walker.

then he thought about Shanghai Dolly to finish off the other 1/2 johnny walker, and we called YENG YENG.

but she was weak!

anyway we wanted to go a while.

The disco room was so packed and full. The moment, we entered, this drunkard was about to find some fault with the Bouncer.
ThiRak and I decided to leave Dolly when we came to the wine bar, EMPTY and sat down to drink the balance.

And William came to drink together with us. 3 of us was easy to finish the balance.
Someone's idea to have AK47 shots,
the shots was amazingly large,
7 spirits in a shot., we ordered 3 balloon glasses.

15 mins later, i was in space. GONE.

The next moment, when i opened my eyes, it was morning and i was in my home room.

I cannot remember a thingy after the 15 mins of drinking AK47.
my eyes was painy, i was hungover.

never would i want to drink another AK47. Thirak AK said i didnt do any LOUD things, just high that's about it. Thank goodness, no unglam moments.

My MOM's Birthday

we meant to give MOMMY a surprise after Uncle Chris and Aunty Jenny requested that ThiRak Darling AK to cook the Curry Chicken and Ngoh Hiang which they quite loved after he did for our housewarming.

so on Mummy's Birthday on Saturday 13th Marchy,

ThiRak AK COOKED in additional

- BLACK sauce FRIED Biscuit Pork, PORK CHOP to be short
- Seafood Ngoh Hiang for me (with no meat),
- Fried Fish stuffed with SAMBAL,
- Chup Chye (Mummy cooked)

including the Curry Chicken and Ngoh Hiang PORK!

Hey, i helped Darling AK to fry the ALL the Ngoh Hiang. Especially when i felt so horrid, because the night before i had a handover with AK47.

Aunty Kim Bought the cake and together we had Aunty Chye Uncle Chris and Aunty Jenny over for Dinner.

We decided on Japanese Restaurant that Wednesday in Thomson, if i am not wrong about the name of the restaurant its called sushi deli, for dinner.
so we all met at the restaurant with HER ordering over much. Especially the cheesy LARGE prawn with the SCALLOP.
it was good but it was too much.

I liked this dessert, green tea MUAH chee. Superb!

when susan tele me saying i had a post a few days ago, to go over her room to collect, from ADELINE she mentioned, i was puzzled.

So i went over, and it was indeed from ADELINE LAW. B1 she indicated.

Was wondering how the world Susan knew was ADELINE LAW, since there wasn't any name in the envelope, she said :" its her handwriting.. "

Fish fingers are nice, when you cook them right.

When I was youngy, my mummy used to oven toast them for me, the brand a captain hook “BIRDS EYE” I think. I loved it every time she oven toast it.

But it was quite costly I think, then over a period of time, I didn’t had it.

Until recently, mummy bought another brand, and this was as good as the “BIRD"S EYE!”

And in our new home, mummy stocked up as much boxes because a box had only 10 strips

and I can munch as much as 5 strips a night, by myself let alone THIRAK AK!

So

The other night I first hand oven toast it myself, which I presume was easy, and churn the timer to 15MINS!

Bake bake bake, then I churn another 5 mins to make it more CHRISPY I thought to myself.

Bake bake bake.

Then I got to eat.

HARD LIKE anything, the cod fish inside was good but it wasn’t that crispy feeling at the exterior. it was kinda overcooked.

Funni I thought.

The next night, THIRAK AK oven toast it for me, and we ate.

Gee ....it was much nicer, definitely, so he explained that he toast it for a total 10 mins, when i ask him the difference.

10 MINS? Hahah I was laughing inside . the other night I had it for 20 mins ....

So going forward, he is going to OVEN TOAST the fingers for me, because just last night , when I oven toast another 6 fingers, I set the timing to 10 mins,

But I forget to on the SWITCH!

Be careful what you put into the washing machine

Today’s the storm’s really bad. It got to raining at 5am, around that at our home area and when I woke for work it didn’t stop.

So I was a little wet at the feet when I reached work. It was fine though..

And its starting to storm here again, the sound of the LARGE DROPS OF rain on our tight class window, its scary.

It’s dark when we looked out. Its really a 360degree turn compared to the last few weeks of hot humid weather.

Gee!

When the weekend I was doing the laundry, I threw my first lot of my clothes into the washing machine and has it washed as usual on the Saturday.

When I took it out to hang, micro pieces of TISSUE was all over all the CLOTHES, and I meant ALL OVER every single piece of clothes that I washed. I almost cried out.

Yeah, then I found my snoopy tissue cover in the washing machine with no tissue already inside. DIDNT I CHECKED ALL THE POCKETS in the shorts or something?

So thi rak AK and I tried to rinse one by one the clothing to rid the micro pieces of tissues that had stucked on the clothings, and let it be spined by the washing machine again.

After the 2nd washed, the clothings were still stucked by mirco bits of tissue. So I let them hung dry.

On Sunday, I did all the week’s ironing (which was very fast) and took ¾ day to remove the TISSUE DEBRIS from all ALL MY CLOTHINGS

Bit by bit, using sticky tape to remove the tissuessssss! AND followed by 3M sticky roll!

What could be worst than that?

I nursed my clothings that Sunday for almost 7hours, broke my record,
From 2pm to 9pm.

Aging Agin, the other day over at luncheon, on the way back I realised known my current colleague Susan for almost 14 years already since I joined Reinsurance back when I started.

Meaning, I known Adeline law for 14 years too.

Swell.

Yesterday I left a messege to Adeline congratulating her. (which I was being kpo only), surprisingly, I got a sms a while ago, from her, their first step entering into their new phrase of life, they GOT IT!
Yipee! That was good.

Then since she was so far far away, I was just thinking those days we have lunches and dinners together, and felt that, that I should have more lunches with her and hear her grumbling then.

Maybe I should have done more, maybe I should have arranged more dinners.
Gosh. Maybe we should have more good food at posh restaurants then when we were working together.
All these maybes.

Its horrid feeling. I don’t want to have maybes maybes, I want to think back and say YES, ‘heng’ ah, I did this and that, or lucky we did these together, lucky I control my temper, lucky this and that.

So hopefully, going forward, I try not to have hiccups on “maybes”, or “I should have done that”, "i shouldnt have done that".

esp to my loved ones lor.

Yesterday when I entered the room, there was New Year goodies, tarts and love letters.

Because Irene and Esther loved to filled us with cookies food, I thought was either of them.
During lunch I even asked Susan who supplied the New Year goodies, we thought and think, and decided it was Irene.

“Maybe she came in the morning.,, nah she’s on medical leave””

“Maybe last night she left on the shelve for us…”

So by the noon time, as usual, I was hungry and grab from the shelve the tarts to munch.

Before I started the tarts, I thought to write a thank you email to Esther and Irene for the goodies.

Because the other 3 girls were in different room with me, So I wrote

“Thanks for the new year goodies in our room… “ I wrote quietly.

And the next moment seated on the opposite of me,
QUEK said “oh I brought the tarts and love letters for you all to eat…”

when i was popping a little more pimples these dayz, Darling AK boiled the red dates.../liang soup for me for 2 days.

if i get to drink it maybe once a week , it be so swell. gaga. Better still, i miss the herbs he made for me for my blood, but you had to get that at a physician stall.

tonight he doing the prawn fritters for me. ...

when i thought (AGAIN, and i didnt voice out this time), i lost the tini snoopies, the weekend, we went back to Yishun to complete the house empty when we realised that my ex-room cupboard right at the top was filled with boxes.
We brought them down,
it was all ALL my stuff.

yet again, and ONE large box of my tini snoopies including the whole collection i had from Macdonalds.

when i didnt see this box didnt my packing days then, i thought the best to shutup since it was no where to be found. (maybe it was misplaced, i thought)

So we brought back the large box of tini SNOOPIES, TONS of it with nowhere to display yet.

ThiRak took a few tini ones to display at the shelves the moment he reached home, but there were more tons in the boxes. he was more enthusiastic in getting them out than me, chuckle, chuckle.

Whenever the doggies goes for grooming, there is bound to have problems.

Just the other day when Nikki went for grooming, immediately, he had rashes and last evening the parents sent him to the vet.

HE was in such agony, moving up and down in the hall of ours, not knowing where to lay down, as it itch and painy.

Even in the night, when everyone is asleep you could hear him in agony.

Such a poor thing. I’m start to wonder if its another old age thingy.
Sigh!

When we had our housewarming party on the 6th Feb last week, i didnt have the time to snap any pictures.

So i waited for all to post to collate but now very much though. '
The Jean snap a few but to date, no Sign of Upload. Sigh!

We had 2 sessions that day, noon and night drinking session. The night didnt end very late though with one or 2 very high.

Ak woke in the morning with Mummy and he cooked the Curry chicken. It was good. Mummy helped him the day before to wrap the Ou Hiang and so that morning she was busy frying it and chicken wings.

Because me dun take porky, so Ak and mummy wrapped a seperate Ou Hiang fillings with crab meat and prawn meat.

The offices that we rented had a big flood apparantly a week ago, and the staff had to come back during the weekend to clear the flood.
Apparantly there was a big leakage from the washing sink and somehow leak flood until, the floor a level down had almost the ceiling collaspe on them.

Its been almost 1 week, we couldn’t washed our cups spoons, the aunty had to use another spare pantry squeezing herself into the small washing area to wash for us. And its reali far away.

Its not the issue.

The issue is we are inconvenience!

The issue is when they called the plumber last weekie, the plumbers, 3 different plumbers all said their workers have gone off for the new year.

Nobody wants to take the job!

CLOSE JOB. 收工了! ,after they view the leakage.

The pipings and damage are all concealed under the tiles, in the floor, with no way to repair. They have to HACK THE WHOLE PANTRY DOWN to repair the leak!

Actually that's my weakie body cannot take too MUCH FOOD maybe.

when i felt ill 3 days ago, actually started with vomitting spells and stomach gotten really uncomfy, i knew i had some gastric flu, and again.

so before it gotten worst i went to Karen at Suntec. She didnt want to harsh my womb with too much medicine and too strong ones, so she prescribed a little lighter dose.

"you going to feel worst, when the gastric flu attacks, and if you vomit a lot, a lot, take a jab at the nearest clinic..""

ok. so i got a noon medical leave off.

rested slept the whole noon and the next day went back to work.

Only to feel MUCH MUCH worst. I felt terrible than yesterday.
So i went back to Karen after lunching.
' i think i need the stronger medicine. the pain is coming to my chest and throat'
and i starting to feel feverish

okok, and so she did. and was given another noon medical leave.

And again, went home, rested and slept. I didnt report for work the next day, because it gotten worst, i felt so my stomach were coming out of my throat. so i took a day rest and went to Desmond when he opened for patients.

he checked my pulse. check check check, gee, he said I WAS GOING TO DEVELOP GASTRIC FLU, BUT i was having some infection at the Gallbladder, i had too much cookies, chips and overeated....he said.... apparantly. i didnt mention a word.

"which was so true, i kept eating and eating and munching nonstop at work place, till the girls thought i was overeating ... Hemmmm they thought... and Yeng too knows i ate too much recently. ""

so i overate ,my body at one moment couldn't digest the food . Should be like that.

so i got sick.

and today i am feeling so much better than the last few days. At least i feel comfty and perky after the Chinese medicine, and my appetite is back.
my stomach feels normal as well.

Seriously i duno to eat or not to eat now.

Almost over a year into buying the housey, we finally settled in unpacked and a little more to tidying and cleaning more, would be swell already. Just a a little bit more tidy to the edges...

Last weekend, we settled most of the things, then we looked at our living.
It was bared!

the walls were bared.

we need a nice picture a dull monotone picture to place in our hall. But we have no dull toned picture we got out to the city in search for a
DULL monotone picture that fits in the Hall of ours.

one saturday around Singapore.
Went to Budget shops, went to Galleries, went to "renovation" company (mislead).
We saw none of it, some of it which were super PRICY, WAY off zillion our budget.

so we left it BARED!

suddenly i found lines, deep wrinkles around my eyes, its so visible in the spam of weeks that i shifted house.

Also because i failed to buy my regular facial products because it ran out and i just grabbed off the shelf whatever i could see in our house.

The condition got worst.

When all the tau taos snoopies got renuited together finally, after so long, together displayed in our room, I realised my BIG LARGE snoopy was not in the new house either.

ALMOST as Large, as large as half Darling AK when it was SEATED!

So I probably thought I was stored in the same box as the missing shoes.

So just too bad.

Then my parents wanted to go back to their place to clear for rental and to PACK MORE STUFF into our house. So we went, last week surely.

And I was in the kitchen clearning stuff until ThiRak came inside and saw a trash seated on the kitchen chair.

“WHATs this?” thirak ask and started Squeezing the trash…

“”Large TAU tao is it??”” continue squeezing…

Yeah sure enough it was and we brought the LARGE snoopy back to the new house.
Poor him, seated at the kitchen for almost a week in the trash bag.

Walking to and Forth to the MRT station...

When susan and I and cynthia realised that the shutter bus for the workplace tower we are in has been checking on the stamp pass whenever you board the bus, we stopped using the shutter since.

Still, there were many others that used the bus without the stamp. We are the unlucky ones that got checked always, and it was only just that we know that stamps were bought-able at Millenia to get onto the bus.

SO me and susan went to enquire the stamp from Millenia office a few weeks ago.
The stamp was S$10 per month, the initial card was (didn’t ask)….

Then we returned to our office and thought probably the regus office provided services, maybe free stamps for us for the shutter.

So we asked.

A stamp the Regus charge including collection from the Millenia office was S$15 monthly plus initial card for the stamp was another S$15….

So we got back to, walking to and forth our office to the Cityhall MRT station.

I lost a carton!
While we knew something was missing, it wasn't until 2 days ago, that we knew WHAT was missing.

all my pairs of HEELS and working HEELs.

about 10 above pairs.

after clearing the cartons and cartons of boxes, leaving nothing, we knew what was missing.

must have been stolen while we left at the lobby for loading to the lifts upstairs.
then the KARAng-Gu-ni person who took the carton might be cheering too.

Probably should "bio" the 2nd hand store to see if "they" are there. Maybe Sungei rd..

Dis-orientation around the house

The first few nights we were quite dis-orientated. That was before my parents returned home from their trip.

Even NIKKI boy.
he was lost
didnt know where to walk to
didnt know what to do and where to laid down.
he kept barging out of the front door the moment it was open.
didnt know it was his permanant housey then. "chuckle"
Then he gotten used to us sleeping in our room.

then my parents came back from their holiday,
the kitchen and hall all packed except for their cartons of boxes unpacked.
They were disorientated too.
didnt know where to start, didnt know where the things are.

then after these few days, we got detached from disorientated.

Including Nikki Boy.

Finally one year later, after we bought the housey, we moved in last weekend .

Finally with all the fuss and reno, we moved in last weekend.

It was a good weather and with Benji's and Dennis' and Bolimo's help, we managed to load the carton of boxes and furnitures into their lorries and moved into our new house. Including the POTS of plants flowers tall PLANTS large PLANTs for our garden.

Now our balcony is starting to look like garden.

I spent 2 days in the kitchen arranging unpacking and tidying things up into the rightful cabinets. Finally its finished.

it wasn't that bad.

AK was doing the harder jobs, drilling and drilling.

the last weekend our meals were upside down. Missed our lunch and dinner because we were engorsed in our unpacking.

I'm back at work with alittle bit more unpacking in our room and spare room, and hall.

I’m Feeling: now waiting for our CABINETS to arrive to continue unpacking....

Last night I took the cab home caused i worked pretty late in the office. As usual for the last few weeks, i took the cab home after work, the cab driver would use the CTE way to bring me home.

Last night this particular cab driver went into The MARINA MANDARIN and into the carpark.

then i wonder what he was up to AND SCREAMED at him.

"UNCLE WHERE YOU GOIN!"

"cte" HE said quietly.

then i was ready to jump out of the cab when he turn here and there inside the carpark and out to cityhall. I kept my cool first .......

NO difference!

It was so late, no jam there's no need to do that.
For a moment, i might want to suspect him. A young rude chap, didnt' talk didnt acknowledge when i told him my destination.

still i didnt see the need to get into the carpark.

I wish i screamed more then, at least to let him know i was unhappy..

We have no time for anything, the moment we reached home we head for bed. So exhausted.
i wished we had more time suddenly, we reached the peak so weary now...

I have been running busy at work this month with weekends over packing the parents house and running to the new house to do a little washing here and there, as and when, while ThiRak AK still meddling and modelling and beautifying the housey. From the BASE to completion.

Our Christmas will be cleaning and painting the house this year.

I’m warmth, in fact Darling AK and I are warmth to see the number of our friends that came by to lend their hand, throwing in their help.

The “dirty” work, from ground nothing, at the beginning to completion till beautifying. I must say that our friends are part of the housey completion too. Especially "BOON".

What warmth me was, their enthusiasm. Some came so early before us to start the work. And it was their helped they offered.

Gee so touched.

And we had some, that already bought some furnitures, “furnitures” for us. ….as gifts... for pre- housewarming.

The weekend was so busy for us. With appointments with Boon for selecting the bathroom and toilet sanitary wares and accessories, then to Uncle Heng’s wedding, then to the Textile for selecting tiles for the homey, then to kitchen-ary to get the COOKER and Hob then the Electricial came to dismantle the housey wiressss, and then we went to purchase the air-conditional, and then we got Benji’s help to pre paint the walls before the hacking was done.

That was a total of Saturday and Sunday.

The Christmas Dinner so kindly arranged by Esther last Friday was at the Fine Dining Frenchie Restaurant.

But first, I tested the camera at the office. this is the place where i spent 3/4 of my day in everyday other than weekdays.

Suddenly the speed up of the reno of our house seemed to be in a rush.

Do this Do that do this that that that.

havent order this, havent buy that.

gosh!

so this weekie end, we gona get the 'this' and 'that' quickly so the reno could proceed without hipcup!

One of the reason why it was so delayed was also because we intend to sub the renovation to this “A” contractor our first choice.

When we were sure we wanted him, had him view our house and quoted stuff like that, Thi-Rak AK contacted him several times but he didn’t pick the call. When he did finally, we planned to have another go of finalization before the kick off.
So we made another appointment and he was fine.

Then an hour before the appointment, he didn’t call, in fact, Thi-Rak called to confirm and he explained he was stucked in another planet and was not able to make it.

The next day he promised to call and meet us at the venue near our home.
He didn’t call.

Thi-rak numerously made tons of calls, the next day and the next day, to irritate him at the same time,.

He didn’t pick up or msg.

1 week 2 weeks 3 weeks. He was picked up by another “alien”! gosh, if he did picked up the phone, I guess, I would be frightened to place my house in his care.
Such an irresponsible person. Could have at least told us he wasn’t interested or he had a problem. That would give us another alternative. Maybe he was spaced to another planet.

So today we got another contractor. Which is fine I would hope so. Till then, we shall see the progress 3 weeks later.

I'm so awake in the early early morning so i made my way to work very early.

then i thought of breakfast, Macs breakkie!

Sausage Mcmuffin. yummy yummy, so chokeD with delight, i thought of the sausage.

Just ONE sin, once a while a bit of MEAT is okay, i was telling myself.
its meat, and its beef... and worst its fast food processed..
then i thought of the COW!
That's the headache!

Forget it. So my mind switched to Pancake.

So i went to cityhall to get the Pancake for brekkie.

then the Menu with BIG pictures GREETED ME the moment i entered the door.

"PANCAKEsss with Sausage...." gosh, tempting again.

Quickly i told the lady my order

PS. the reason why i wakie so early because i took the drowsy medicine, flu tablet and the cough syrup and again, its causing me to lose sleep

The whole tower reek of glue and paint smell. Whatever they are doing, painting or glueing, its odour has penerated the whole aircon system centralising it, into our NOSE, the moment you enter even the lobby, AND IN the office rooms we are in.

Its in the whole TOWER and we are getting sick of it. Sick of breathing the airborne glue, and its not even an hour, we feeling sick of it.

Last night I was trying to explain to ThiRak about the police/guards I saw. They were standing just right at the entrance of the end of the linkway in the open, at the entrance of SUNTEC, wearing all brown with a BROWN hat, hat that is not A CAP but a hat.

And Holding a LONG rifle, really long and looks pretty heavy.
Yeah, they looked like rangers, like those in the forest rangers, looking for hunters.

That was my first time seeing those in singapore actually.
And I was wanting to take my phone out to snap a few pictures of the LONG RIFLE they were holding at like 90degrees all the time under the hot SUNny day, and I thought better not, because surrounding me were other policemen, dressed in normal navy uniform that we are used to seeing.
So I didn’t snap.

And so ThirakAK was trying to guess the rifle they were holding but I can’t reconise it anyhow.

This morning I was trying to go a little bit nearer to these “rangers” STILL holding on 90degree to their rifle. Yeah it was a long heavy looking rifle.
Must be really tiring. and HOT

The moment you arrived at City Hall this morning, there were many troops of guards/police/security whatever you called them everywhere.

At the escalator going to Raffles City and

at every entrance of Suntec, well, at least the entrances that i passes through had guards stationed even at the convention halls food court.

Well, i dun get to see so MANY guards on duty on normal days, especially at every distance.

Because of the estate we lived in probably,

I guess, we are proned to people stealing our stuff especially

whatever we placed outside our house.

And that’s about what we placed outside!

We are quite used to having our slippers stolen and still,

we would get a little mad when we know our slippers are stolen, thus,

never to leave it our stairs that leads to our door.

But of course we have a few cheap pairs worn around the estate so we left it there.

Used to have stolen stuff from us, but we never encountered this case

that happened a few days ago.

In the morning, I left for work I noticed a pair of strangers OLD slippers

at the bottom of our stairs to our doorstep. Someone had left it there.

Not thinking anything about it, I left for work.

Until in the evening did THIRAK AK realised that his pair of

cheap slippers were missing which he had placed on the TOP of the

stairs to our doorstep.

Instead The pair of stranger OLD slippers was still outside our doorstep .

Ah, someone has exchanged their slippers with ThiRak AK

and kindly left theirs.

T-Rak AK saw the doctor and is on medication, so far it looks to be improving at his knee cap.

Sometimes when you eat or have something, a little is enough, over dose is always bad and harmful.

Last night before the moment of truth, we rushed to the higher end coffeeshop western food to buy Frenchie Fries. So greedy he was, he bought 2 large packets of it and a spring chicken for my daddy.

And we finished just both of us the 2 large packets of fries, while watching the midnight “Moment of truth, 2nd season.
This reality show is just so interesting, you just see through the person through and through.

But the issue here is the fries.
Over eaten the french FRIED fries, NOW I am feeling my throat a little starting to sore.

Gosh, why did I eat so MUCHIE!

Weather Moods is faster than ours

Its always starts to looks darken and misty in this hour of the morning every day in the area i'm working at.
Maybe because we are near the sea as well and today's the sea looks like its going to explode with formation of waves so visible at my sight where i am siting.

the far end of the sea sky is so blurred, so blurring the misty fog has covered the vision of mine.

And just when i was writing this posty, the storm came very quickly.
EVERYDAY at this hour be it monsoon or not, it either rain or STORM.

Only yesterday yesterday we noticed the sea TURNED PALE yellow. like a dried up scallop, only this was the colour of the sea is yellow.

and just 5 mins of storm, its bright and clear with clear vision to me again.

WEIRD! i can see across the sea clearly in less than 5 mins of storm.

The more I eat, the hungrier I got.

i only realised that it was almost Christmas when the passage ways to my

office place was decorated with Christmas decorations.

And also because its because this year's Singapore wanted to have the deco really early

because of the APEC meetings to brighten up the town area.

I didnt wake up today because after snoozing the clock i fell so much asleep again.

I slept super early last night even before the AMERICAN got talent ended yet,

i slept so much. Until after i snooze, i knew i be late so i got up felt so tired all over again,

like butter soon melted, and msg my bossie and

felt asleep till 11am.

i slept for 12 hours.

worst of all, i been eating so muchie, i might have accused Desmond's medicine.

My metabolisam is growing so largely, either that or i am super GREEDY.

I eat and eat and eat double the portion than normal.

SO probably when i get tired the body trying to work the food inside and

i sleep and sleep.

LAZY!

i might want to tell Desmond about my super appetite,

then the last visit i did told him!

Pauls’ memorial service

Last night we went to Pauls’ memorial service at his house.

He passed away physically to a long battle with cancer, that left him reduced to nearly bones.

Coincidentally, he is the brother in law of my ex-colleague Julia.

These few weeks, darling AK and I have been constantly following his condition through their bloggie, as he slowly deteriorate and how he’s been in and out of the hospital.

And we also know that Paul have been asking to go HOME with the LORD and wasn’t afraid of death, definitely. Uncle Chris mentioned in his service last night too that Everyone was relieved for him.

The wake service was a little teary at certain times, we had singing songs in Hokkien & English and testimonials from Uncle Chris and Aunty Jenny and a short "Eternal Life" sermon.

We came to a close at about 9pm plus and have a little fellowship, makaning just before heading home. Tonight there be another service before the cremation tomorrow afternoon.

Dealing with death of our loved ones aint coming easy, because its physically detached away of our lifes, in this world. Something which everyone everybody has to go through.. one of the days….

Shopping for a TV was easy

Weekend we went to collect some carton boxes and walked around singapore furnitures and electrical appliances stores for ideas.

Yesterday afternoon, we landed in Expo after no more furnitures mega sales STORES to view.
2 halls were booming with people, electrical appliances and another homestead.

The electrical appliances HALL looks like its giving their goods for free, if you happened to stand outside the EXPO hall and seeing everyone grabbing the stuff and “auditioning”…

Of course it wasn’t free. But it looks cheaper than usual.

So Daddy and I were standing at the TV dept “Auditioning” live area, while darling AK & mummy at the far end.

Daddy & I were at the front row before the stagie, listening to the DJ advertising the TVs.

It happened the set he was “auditioning” was pretty good and only 10 sets for the timing. So the moment the slash PRICE is announced, you had to quickly grab the “Auditoned” cards, in order to BE entitled for the Slash discounted price.

Some of the people standing around us, wanted the CARD even before the price was announced. Kiasu.

The virus that attacked my Daddy

When shingles came upon our lives few weeks ago, attacking Daddy’s side tummy, it took a little toll on us for a while.

When the 1st day Daddy thought it was rashes but painfully painful instead, I took a rash cream to appy for him which didn’t help and the next day, you could literally see the rash spread in a semi-circle quickly.

Daddy went to the company’s clinic (clinic that do not have regular doctors on duty) and it was shingles alright, SNAKE we called it. In total Daddy took abt 2-3 weeks medical leave.

back to That night, we were quite worried, we brought him to bishan sinseh to catch the head and burn the snake to death!!! Gagaga!

The sinseh was also shocked to see that the rashes (snake) has grown into a large snake.

Nevertheless the treatment helps after several visits including acupunture and today he is well recovering.
Because its shingles, it attacks his nerves inside during when it was alive and till today, he is feeling the pain right inside which the doctors said it would take a few months or years even for the pain inside to subside completely.

And also I learnt that shingles is the virus from chickenpox that didn’t explode in the chicken pox DAYS and stayed dormant in your body and one fine day decides to erupt which causes rashes SHINGLES!

Getting quotations for our housey

Just a little bit of walking made me so tired…

Weekend thi-rak Ak, and me parents went strolling in Courts, Gaincity, Our coming-apartment & lots of furniture shopping.

But because I was getting old, my legs got so tired yesterday late afternoon already, whereas, my parents still was so energetic, not talking about thi-rak AK as well.

Then yesterday in the hot afternoon, after getting some quotations for the Air-Conditioning unit, Daddy mentioned that EXPO has furniture sales, so we went.

Reached there for some fries and drinks while Thi_RAK ak asked around if any halls were having any furniture sales, because all we could see was
METRO sales!

So there was only METRO SALES!

And we shopped in the hall with METRO SALES in the end, caused there werent any furniture sales, the advertisment was for next month.

Shopped till my legs almost break.

I ate the most this week

These 3 days was like a battlefield, food battlefield.

The company's big bosses is in town, the executives of the executives and 3 solid days of full day meetings with our Boss and the Underwriters. Anticipating that time is not enough to waste on outside luncheon, we had 3 days of eat-in-eatery cum breakfast break and tea-break.

The girls did an excellent job, order varieties of food for each of the meal, for 3 meals a day, some to self-collect some catered in and preparing a good display presentation of the foodie before it was PUSHED in a food-trolley to them.

We had different orders for each meal, so most of it had to be self-collected, then we start to prepare.

in the morning we start preparation around 10am, pushed the food in and we start to munch the rest ourselves. by the time it was almost noon, we start to prepare around 12pm, pushed the food in around 1230pm and start our munching around 1pm. by 3pm, we had to start preparing tea-breaks, 330pm pushed the food in and by 4pm, we start munching again.

3 solid days of battlefield with the food.
today is the last day of the meetings.

"Moment of truth"

Beer doesn’t work very well on me these times recently. I get tired on beer and high so easily with just a few mugs of beer.

Gee I think I’ll stick to my whisky or martell.

Recently we watch the reality game show “moment of truth” every Wednesday at night.

Its like “dun forget the lyrics” but this was to speak the truth about yourself!

Lie detector machine was attached to the player’s heart and questions would be posed to the person. If the person answered truthfully, he would climb up until S$500,000. There are different stages & level. Each level has a set of question. The higher you go, the more personal the questions were. one question answered not truthfully gets you eliminated.

The last week’s episode had this young male player who brought his girlfriend, mother father and sister.

And some of the questions asked were so personal that the girlfriend got pretty upset in the end, we think.

Questions to the male player :-

“did you have sex with more than 100 woman”
yes
“do you intend to have kids with your girlfriend?”
no
“do you think you would ever be unfaithful to your girlfriend”
Yes

The girlfriend got pretty upset after that.

Then I was wondering back in my mind what happened to this young couple after the “Moment of truth”
